BelCantoArts is a Viennese concert organizer that has been primarily dedicated to the organization of classical concerts in Vienna since 2020.

The endeavor to promote sustainable and fair working conditions in the cultural sector drives us to break new ground in concert organisation. The Leading Team consists of internationally active musicians who not only live their enthusiasm for music and opera on stage, but also bring it out into the world through extraordinary projects – from classical concerts and concert tours to opera and operetta productions and contemporary music and world premieres.

We offer unique, carefully curated programs within high-quality productions and performances. It is important to us to work with big names as well as to give young singers and musicians the chance to show their quality.

Max v. Lütgendorff

Founder, Singer, President

The Austro-German tenor Max v. Lütgendorff sings in guest engagements with the Salzburg Festival, am Landestheater Linz, at the Theater an der Vienna and in the Schönbrunn Palace Theater. operetta tours as well concert led him to Germany and Hungary.

His many years of experience in clubs and the organization and implementation of his own concert projects led to the founding of BelCanto Arts in 2020.

Kathelijne Wagner

Team, Singer, Cashier

The lyric soprano Kathelijne Wagner was born in Leiden/Netherlands and grew up in Germany. She began her singing studies at the opera school of the HfM Karlsruhe with Maria Venuti and continued at the Peter Cornelius Conservatory in Mainz with Cynthia Grose.

She did her master’s degree at the “CODARTS -Hogeschool voor de Kunsten” in Rotterdam / Netherlands with Prof. Roberta Alexander.

Glenn Desmedt

Team, Sänger, Vizepräsident

Belgian tenor Glenn Desmedt received his master’s degree in philosophy and theater studies from the Free University of Brussels. He then studied classical singing at the Maastricht Conservatory and perfected his skills with Luba Stuceveskaja, Aga Winska and Nicolai Cok.

At the same time, he specialized in the musical genre in numerous workshops and master classes, including in the legendary musical department of the Royal Ballet of Flanders under Linda Lepomme: the company that brought the musical genre to Belgium.
